The following items are for in the event that you receive an error after logging into the ONE Admin Portal stating the "trial period for this software has expired" or a trial version's expired. This error can prevent functionality and will need to be remediated before any admin work can be completed.
It's important to note that this can happen even if you are certain the license was updated correctly. There's no explanation to the behavior, but we have figured out how to fix it.
"The trial for this software has expired."
If this is your error, this simply requires a direct link to the licensing page. If you have multiple MFA servers with different URLs, this will only need to be done once since all of the servers share the same database where the license(s) are stored.
It's recommended to use the one_sys_admin user for this process since it's not a domain user. If you do not have the login information for OSA, please reach out to us for assistance in resetting that password.
Open your internet browser of choice.
Copy/paste the following URL into the search box and hit enter:
http://localhost/ONE/admin_portal/Settings/license_new.aspx
a. Replace 'localhost' with your server's URL.
b. Be sure you're using the correct HTTP or HTTPS.
c. Example:https://mfa.idauto.one/ONE/admin_portal/Settings/license_new.aspx
This will bring you to the login.
Once logged in, you may notice that you do not have access to any of the tabs except the Settings tab.
- Click on the Settings tab and re-upload your MFA license like normal.
Trial Version: Expired
This error can appear at times even when you just successfully uploaded a license key. To remove it, re-upload the license key like normal and click "Save".
