Enabling MFA Push Logs

When issues arise with the mobile PingMe and OTP, push logs are necessary to help us troubleshoot the root cause. The following instructions will walk you through enabling these if they are not already and where they can be found on your server.

Log Location

C:\Logs\logpush.txt

Enabling Push Logs

  1. On your external facing MFA server, open your Registry Editor.

  2. Navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Identity Automation\RapidIdentity MFA.

  3. Right-click on RapidIdentity MFA and create a new key. Name this key "RADIUS".

  4. Under the new RADIUS key, a new value.

    LogLevel DWORD 3

  5. Perform an iisreset.


Troubleshooting

If you have followed the instructions but nothing seems to be appearing in the Logs folder, there was an issue in MFA Server v4.9.6.1 that prevented the above steps from fully enabling Push logs.

In addition to the steps above, you will need to add the same LogLevel value to the following registry path:

HKLM\Software\2FA Technologies\ONE Server\RADIUS
